The lodge was built to the highest standard, with an immaculately clean and fabulous bathroom. the king-sized bed was amazingly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. It was a bonus to see the swallows nest and the baby birds. the hosts, Calvin and Alison, were fantastic, very friendly and helpful.
The access road to the lodge wasn't the greatest, making it a bit hard to find, but that added to the fact that it was out of the way and quiet, which can be seen as a positive aspect.

The lodge offered amazing views of the surrounding countryside and we enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds chirping every morning. The nearby hiking trail was a highlight of our stay, with stunning landscapes and beautiful greenery to admire. We highly recommend exploring the area on foot.
While the lodge itself had some positive aspects, we were disappointed by the lack of amenities and the remote location. There were no nearby shops or restaurants, and having to drive everywhere was quite inconvenient.

The value for money at this lodge was exceptional, with a beautiful room and all the amenities we needed. The location was picturesque and the staff treated us like family, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.
The only thing that could make the breakfast selection even better would be to have a wider variety of fresh fruits and pastries.

The hosts were amazing and made us feel so welcome with their friendly and helpful attitude. The lodge itself was top-notch, with high-tech facilities and everything in perfect working condition. The highlight, though, was the incredibly comfortable bed that gave me the best night's sleep ever. On top of that, the cleanliness of the lodge was absolutely spotless, which added to our overall satisfaction.
Honestly, there was nothing I could fault about this place. Everything was perfect, from the secluded location with its stunning views to the smart kitchen area, lovely bathroom, and comfortable bedroom/living area.
